The Pandemic Story — Why you needed this break!

A lot of people are spending their time chilling with their family, binging over Netflix documentaries on pandemics and playing board games, thinking that after 21 days they’ll be able to go back to their previous routine and start working on their projects, businesses, classes, etc.

The reality is that the life that we are leading right now, could just become our new reality! We have to find a way to get things going. We have to accept the unknown and make way for new strategies to adapt to the changing requirement. And most importantly, prepare ourselves better for when the world gets back on its feet again.

For now, my advice to all of my clients is to take a step back. Whether you're providing a professional service or running e-commerce, stop everything for a while, and introspect.

  • Figure out what you could have done better in the previous year and what you need to do better in the future.
  • Dive deep into your mistakes, failures and learn from them. Get in touch with your mentors, industry experts or anyone who would give you the right advice.
  • Study the data and analyze your target audience. Was it really the best? Or you could have made some tweaks in demography, geography, and interests and gained better ROI from your marketing efforts?
  • Have you been deploying your strategies effectively? Or you have always been in a rush to get things done without thinking whether they are being done in the right way or not?
  • Remember those Newsletters you sent last year that got marked as Spam? Is there any better way to send them to avoid such hassle?
  • Your referral program did not really give you much benefit. Is there anything you can do to make it more enticing for your customers?
  • That amazing social media campaign you and your team had high hopes with did not do well for your business. Can we sit and analyze the numbers to find the gaps?

A lot of such activities will help you figure out the best for your business in the upcoming months. Understand your target audience better and deploy strategies in an effective way.

This is the time you can use to connect with your business, your people and of course, to your self.

Stay Home, Stay Safe, Stay Productive!
